Justin Delong
Justin Delong, Director of Cultivation has been cultivating and breeding Cannabis Genetics for 28 years. Originally, in his native state of Wisconsin, Justin cross-bred cold-tolerant World War 2 era hemp cultivars with high testing genetics of various lineages. He spent over ten years growing medical cannabis in Oregon, in Greenhouse, Full-Sun, and Indoor environments. In 2017, utilizing our newly re-discovered THCV genetics, he began his work in the Emerald Triangle of California. Implementing only traditional breeding methods in real-world conditions to select for preferential traits and vigorous genetics, selections screened against the newly released laboratory testing standard for THCV. Identifying ‘Unicorn’ plants, and ‘Diamonds in the Rough’, Justin oversees the intensive process of upbreeding THCV genetics without use of feminization, selfing, nor outcrossing to genetics that have a history of indoor breeding.

Justin is a co-inventor of (3) Plant and (3) Utility Patents on THCV Cannabis, the first patents for THCV ever to be granted. His work on high-potency Full-Sun THC genetics has resulted in verified (SC Labs COA’s) flower-production totals over 45% sum of cannabinoids. He continues his work hunting for Unicorns in the numerous lineages currently in inventory to isolate unique profiles such as predominant THCV chemovars, as well as exploring other minor cannabinoids such as CBC. His experiences over the decades have given him the knowledge and expertise of integrating best regenerative and organic practices; to navigate around industry pitfalls of disease, pest, and chemical contaminations that all too commonly plague the National Cannabis industry today. Justin breaks his best records for potency and THCV:THC ratio every year, out-ranking the majority of all markets, proving that full-sun organic cannabis is just as, if not more-so productive than other cultivation methods.
